Staying in residence at Mount Allison?

Just request Books on Beds service as a shipping option and we will deliver your books to your locked room before you arrive. Simply order your books on line and prepay by credit card through our secure website (and don't forget to include your residence and room # as your ship to address). Your order will be packed in a keepsake box with a cash register receipt/packing slip. All you need to do is put your books on your bookshelf!

Every fall,  Mount Allison participates in the Shinerama Campaign.  Shinerama is a fundraising campaign. We work together to raise funds to help the childern with Cystic Fibrosis.  To help with this what the bookstore will be doing is adding $1.00 to every on-line order for the Shinerama Campaign.  If you do not wish to participate, or would like to donate more than the $1.00,  all you have to do is include your wishes in the note section of your order. 

Books on Beds orders must be prepaid. Please note that only students who have paid their registration and residence deposits are eligible for this program.

We will confirm all of the details of the order by email before charging your credit card. Our software automatically updates your order with late textbook adoptions from faculty so check your order online periodically.

Some books or course materials may not be available at packing time. We will make note of any late items on your packing slip. Remember to keep your cash register receipt and order paper work in case you change a course during the add drop period.  Please note:  We will only charge your credit card for the books that are available at the time of packing.

The ordering period for the Winter Term:

November 30, 2009 - December 20, 2009

Orders will be packed December 22 & 22. The books will be delivered to your residence room before January 3, 2010 and will be available to pick up starting January 5, 2010.

 Ordering books online is now closed for the the Fall Term.  Please visit the bookstore to purchase your books.  Also at this time you are able to print a book list.

Textbook Reservation Service:

Want to reserve your textbooks for pickup at the bookstore? Worried about not getting in early enough for the cheaper used books?

Simply reserve your books through this website using "Pick up at store" as the shipping option and your books will be packed in a box ready for you when you arrive. When you are ready to purchase just ask at the bookstore information desk for your reserved box. The sale will be completed at the cash register.

You may choose to prepay for your reserved books online, by choosing pay online and then selecting the shipping option of pick up at store. Therefore eliminating the line-up at the bookstore.

Some books or course materials may not be available at packing time. We will make note of any late items not reserved on the receipt that will be in your box. You will only be charged for books that are available at the time we pack the books.  All packed boxes reserved at the bookstore but not pre-paid will be held for 1 week.  After Friday, September 11, 2009 the books will be re-shelved.

Remember to keep your cash register receipt and all ordering paperwork in case you change a course and need to return a book.
